After her question, realization reached Wanda as she asked, “Kay, aren’t you going to change your mind about the divorce?”
Mikayla answered with an apology.
“I’m sorry, Grandma. I didn’t realize that Uncle Stephen and Aunt Matilda would fuss about it with you. I apologize for making you worry.”
Wanda sighed.
“I’m not bothered at all. In fact, I really hope that things are like what they said that you’ll never file a divorce with Jerome.”
The silence between them stretched on.
Mikayla couldn’t promise Wanda, and Wanda clearly knew what her silence meant.
“Kay, you promised me you weren’t going to bring up the divorce, yet you still obtained the divorce agreement. Did Jerome upset you?”
Wanda continued, “I’ve been waiting for you to come to me, but you haven’t even given me a call.”
Back then, Mikayla wouldn’t hesitate to complain to Wanda.
Thinking about it, she might’ve caused Wanda a lot of issues.
She replied apologetically, “Grandma, this has nothing to do with Jerome. I forced him to sign it first. I heard that you scolded him, but in fact, I should be the one who deserved the scolding.”
A chuckle escaped Wanda’s lips.
“Look at you, Kay. You still care about Jerome. Be honest with me. Did you insist on him signing the agreement because of what Kylie did at the party?”
Though Wanda rarely used the internet, she was still well informed.
Someone must’ve seen what happened and told her about the incident.

acquainted with Jerome. Aside from coming around often when she was a child, she has nothing to do with him. Should I talk to her and kick her out of the company instead?”
“No, Grandma!” Mikayla blurted. “It was an accident at the party, and I don’t see anything wrong with Jerome’s actions. Those news stories are just making things up to attract attention. Please don’t go to Kylie.”
In Mikayla’s previous life, Wanda sought Kylie out for her sake.
Kylie resigned upon Wanda’s will, but Jerome wasn’t that daft.

“Mikayla, since when have you become this tolerant?” Wanda seemed displeased. ” Kylie clearly looks like she has something up her sleeve. Don’t you want me to teach her an unforgettable lesson?”
