“Are you done? You can leave now,” Jerome said. 

“Since I’ve come all this way, and it’s still early, It would be a shame not to enjoy the hot springs, wouldn’t It?” Connor retorted. 

Jerome wasn’t surprised by his words at all. He didn’t bother to pursue the matter with him anymore. 

He simply ordered, “Stay away from me.” 

Connor was an embarrassment. 

“Jerome, where’s Mikayla?” Connor wasn’t bothered by Jerome’s attitude.. 

He smirked and asked, “I heard that both of you’re showing affection in the public?” 

“That’s none of your business,” Jerome said. 

“Jerome, you’re so mean. Now that you have Mikayla, you forsake me, Connor said, feeling aggrieved. “It was me who persuaded Ms. Reign to bring Mikayla over, but now you’re turning your back against me. Your’e not even willing to share such a happy moment with me!” 

“Shut up,” Jerome snapped. He was annoyed by Connor’s chatter. 

He looked ahead. He saw Mikayla and Celeste come out from a hot spring and headed toward the dining 

area. 

Jerome’s gaze couldn’t help but follow Mikayla. 

Her hair was slightly damp. Her curves were exquisite, and her skin was even more dazzling under the sunlight. She looked like a mermaid out of water. 

Jerome never thought Mikayla was this stunning before. Why did she suddenly seem so much more 

attractive now? 

Even other men were looking at her. It made him feel uneasy. 

Connor also noticed Mikayla and Celeste as he followed Jerome’s gaze. 

They were wrapped in towels, chatting and laughing. They seemed to be enjoying themselves a lot. 

*Jerome, why are you sitting here? Aren’t you hungry? Don’t you want to eat something?” Connor intentionally asked. 

Jerome lifted his gaze. “Are you hungry?” 

Connor knew Jerome was being stubborn. He nodded, “Yes, I’m hungry. Can you do me a favor? Let’s have a meal together.” 

Only then did Jerome stand up reluctantly. “Let’s go.” 

Connor approached Celeste and Mikayla. 

He took off his sunglasses and greeted them. “Hello, ladies!” 

“Connor, what are you doing here? Didn’t you say you were busy today?” Celeste casually asked. 

Connor felt a little sad. 

Why didn’t Celeste’s expression change when she saw him? Didn’t she see his obs? She even greeted him so casually. 

As soon as Mikayla saw Jerome, her face turned red.

“Ms. Reign, the grilled seafood over there seems pretty good. Let’s go get some!” he suggested. 

Celeste understood his message. “Sure. Mikayla, you and Mr. Miller will stay here and get some desserts.”

There were many Miller Group’s employees in the dining area as well.
