“I’m not sure what the standard of your financial freedom Is. But my family is wealthy enough, and Jerome is my husband. No matter how bad our relationship gets, he still gives me millions or even billions. So how about I give you one billion?” 

Mikayla persuaded him further, “Mr. Lane, you’re just seeking revenge by bringing me here. Even if you beat me up, it won’t change your situation. It would be more useful to accept actual financial assistance. Don’t you think so?”

Mikayla felt anxious but she didn’t give up persuading him. “Mr. Lane, I can convince Jerome to invest in your distillery again. We can forget about what happened today. You’re just facing a minor obstacle now. Why not discuss how to solve it together?” 

“Enough of the nonsense!” Johnny chuckled wickedly and tried to caress Mikayla’s lips. “I wonder how they feel when I kiss them.” 

Mikayla disgustedly dodged. 

Johnny slapped her again. “How dare you bitch disrespect me? Open her mouth and feed her something. Let’s see if she’ll beg me for mercy when the time comes!” 

Mikalya knew what Johnny wanted to feed her. 

She panicked and tried to save herself, but she was tied up. There was nothing around except two broken 

chairs and a bed. 

The house was probably desolate, and calling for help would be futile. 

“Stop wasting your effort. I suggest you better give in, so that you won’t suffer.” Johnny took out a sharp knife from somewhere and pressed it against Mikayla’s cheek. “Otherwise, this pretty face of yours will be

The abductor looked at her lustfully as well. 

Mikayla felt a sense of despair. 

Jerome was still at Miller Manor. He couldn’t possibly be aware of her abduction. 

She didn’t inform Eduard she was going over, so he likely wouldn’t contact her again. 

The driver was injured and probably couldn’t inform anyone.
