She had been worried that Taylor would cause her trouble again and figured she wouldn’t be able to eat

Mikayla chewed the food with enjoyment, filling her stomach. After paying the bill, she went downstairs and wanted to hail a taxi. 

While going past the private rooms, she noticed one with the door half–ajar. Jensen was with his friends inside. His c group had expanded to more than a dozen people. Everyone kept toasting him and fawning 

over him. 

Jensen held a woman in his arms and accepted all the toasts, looking like a successful villain. 

Mikayla took out her phone and secretly captured the scene. She would forward the photos to Louisa in case she couldn’t see his true colors. 

When she got downstairs, she intended to hail a taxi, but she noticed a muscular man approaching her. 

“Mrs. Miller, please get into the car. I’ll take you back.” 

After hearing how he addressed her, she realized he was Leo–the driver and bodyguard Jerome had 

recruited for her.

the car.” 

Mikayla neither agreed nor objected. “Just follow his arrangements.” 

After saying that, she headed upstairs. She entered the bedroom and got out some suitcases to pack up the things she thought were essential as well as some clothes. 

She had fulfilled her promise to Wanda. Even if she didn’t get divorced today, she didn’t have to live in Dragoncrest Villa. 

Thus, she decided to move out tomorrow.

The next day, Mikayla slept until she woke up naturally. After washing and dressing up, she went downstairs. Amy had prepared breakfast and waited for her as usual.

Amy went over and opened the door. After asking, she raised her voice and stated, “Madam, there are two people outside. They said you asked them to come.” 

Mikayla nodded, “Yes, let them in.” 

Amy let the people in. They were two men wearing uniforms from a moving company. 

“Madam, are you planning to change the furniture again? Why did you call the movers?” she asked in 

confusion. 

Mikayla used to change the furniture to make her home more cozy. 

“I asked them to help me move some stuff,” she responded as she set down the cutlery. She then said to the two staff members, “The suitcases are placed upstairs. Come up with me.”
