It was a photo, in which Taylor held Mikayla’s arm as they headed into the hotel.
The person who had sent her the photo was Jensen. He also texted, “Ms. Davidson, how would your husband react if he sees this?”
She chuckled. She expected to get a warning from Irene first, but it was Jensen instead.
“What do you want?” Mikayla asked.
“Don’t worry. I can keep my mouth shut. You’re Louisa’s cousin, after all. I won’t utter crap. I’m just kindly reminding you to be more careful in the f future.”
Of course, she knew what Jensen was thinking. He must assume she hated Jerome out of love and sought revenge in this way.
He wanted to gain something from her. After all, he thought she was stupid and easy to cheat.
“Let’s meet when you have time,” Mikayla invited.
Since Jensen felt he had control over her, she could get closer to him to make her plans go more
smoothly.
As expected, he readily agreed, “Okay. I’m busy at work these days. I’ll meet with you when I’m free.”

possible.
Mikayla requested Betty to find a suitable candidate. She would bring this up with Eduard later and ask
him to pay attention to it.
“Mikayla, Johnny kidnapped you last time. Are you okay in all aspects?:
Betty stated, “I’ve submitted evidence to the police. The orphanage has also confirmed Johnny’s crimes. The lawyer said that he’ll be sentenced to more than ten years in prison.”
Johnny deserved it. He didn’t cherish a good family and career and did terrible things in the name of welfare. He didn’t regret or make it up after being exposed. Instead, he framed Betty in various ways and

After Betty commented emotionally, she hesitated before adding, “Mikayla, I always feel that Johnny was… most likely bewitched by someone else in this kidnapping.”
Mikayla was puzzled. “Why did you think so?”

Betty conveyed her suspicion, “Johnny was treated so badly by Mr. Miller because he threatened you before. Based on his personality, he would either try to solve the orphanage issue or beg Mr. Miller to let him go after he came out. Why did he dare to take revenge on you?
“And about your trip to Lakeville. I didn’t even know you were back. How did he know about your itinerary?”
Mikayla’s expression changed slightly when she heard that. Her decision to go to Eduard’s place was indeed unexpected. How did Johnny know and set up an ambush in advance?
“Of course, I’m just guessing. He might have known he wouldn’t end well, so he unleashed his rage on you.
