Chapter 80 

Jerome pursed his thin lips, trying to ignore Mikayla’s horrible attitude. 

He calmly said, “You said that you wanted to do this before. I’m just giving in to your wishes, what’s wrong with that?” 

Mikayla couldn’t help but chuckle. “You said it yourself, that was in the past. I don’t want to do it anymore. The only thing you need to do now is sign our divorce papers!”

Mikayla felt like she was caught red–handed when Jerome said that. 

Matilda actually told Jerome about what she had said! 

“I didn’t ask my aunt to come over. Her actions have nothing to do with me,” Mikayla said. 

“Mikayla, Jerome, come down quickly! Dinner is ready!” Matilda’s voice came from 

downstairs. 

Mikayla restrained her emotions and said to Jerome, “Let’s talk about this later. No matter what my aunt asks you to do later on, don’t agree to it.” 

Jerome glanced at her with a numb expression. 

Mikayla lost her mood to change clothes and went downstairs.

Mikayla looked at Matilda and said, “If you’ve so much time, you’re better off taking care of Louisa. I heard she might not graduate on time. I don’t need you to worry about my affairs.”

But when she saw Jerome coming downstairs, she immediately calmed herself. 

She ignored Mikayla and warmly greeted him, “Jerome, come and sit here. Dinner will be ready soon!” 

Mikayla sighed silently.

busy with work, right?”
