“Exactly, how could it be him!” Madison also chimed in, expressing strong disdain in her tone. “Even if everyone in Yrando were dead, he still wouldn’t stand a chancel”
“Oh, really?” Lena’s smile held a hint of amusement. Cameron’s ex–wife’s judgment didn’t seem very reliable.
“Colonel Bailey, I admit you must have a keen eye and outstanding abilities, but this time, I’m afraid you may have misjudged,” Madison spoke up again, still holding onto the resentment from earlier.
She wanted to embarrass Lena.
