He thought, ‘Why is Cassie here?
‘Doesn’t she know that there are endless wars here?
‘Life may
be in danger here at any time. Why is she here?
‘She’s actually saving people on the street. Isn’t she afraid of being targeted by Kamila’s men?‘
“Ms. Yates, why are you here?” The man addressed her by her last name directly.
Cassandra frowned and thought, ‘Does this man know me?
‘But I don’t know him.’
“Do you know me?” Seeing that this man might know her, although she was highly vigilant, her tone was calm.
“Yes, you’re classmates with my younger brother.”
This man was Harper’s nominal eldest brother, Theodore Yates.
He was adopted by the queen and the prince consort.
Cassandra thought for a moment. This man was from Zosteylor, and his younger brother and she were classmates, which meant that he was Harper’s elder brother.
She remembered that she met Harper’s elder brother at the amusement park last time, and they didn’t seem to be the same person.

“I see.” Cassandra nodded.
“Cassandra, come with us. I’ll take you back,” Theodore said.

Originally, Theodore wanted to get ahead of Kamila’s men and take away the doctor. Even if she refused to join them, it would be better to persuade her not to join Kamila’s team.
Now that he knew she was Cassie, it would be impossible for him to put her in peril.

“Do you know where I live?” Cassandra asked.

Cassandra turned her head, looked at the muzzle of the gun without any fear, and replied, “What are you going to say?”
“Come with me. My master wants to see you.” He said this pretty clearly.

She just needed to wait for Kenneth to come here.

He hurriedly walked up to Cassandra and asked, “Cassie, are you okay?”
Cassandra smiled, shook her head, and answered, “I’m fine. They didn’t do anything to me.

They were quarreling and I couldn’t understand their conversation because I don’t know the language of Zosteylor.”
Kenneth was speechless.
He thought, ‘Is it the right time to talk about this now?‘
Seeing some army coming to pick Cassandra up, Theodore was still a little worried about her. But when he saw the man’s face clearly, he was shocked and said, “Mr. Zelinski?”
The logo on Kenneth’s uniform was the Falcon Special Operations Force.
Theodore thought, ‘He’s with the Falcon Special Operations Force?
‘And he seems to be a commander–in-chief.
“Mr. Yates, I didn’t expect to meet you on such an occasion.”
Kenneth didn’t expect that the person sent by the royal family was actually Theodore, a guy who was definitely no fighter. Kenneth thought, ‘Did he come out to get himself killed?‘
Cassandra reacted for a moment and suddenly remembered that Kenneth knew Harper’s other elder brother, so he should know this one as well.
But Theodore’s gaze at Kenneth wasn’t so friendly.
Because he had heard from Vincent that Cassie’s boyfriend was Kenneth, but he didn’t expect Kenneth to be the chief of Falcon Special Operations Force.

“Ms. Yates is a Clusian, so I’ll take her away.” Kenneth took Cassandra’s hand and was ready to leave.
Brut pointed his gun at Kenneth and said, “You can’t go!”

Kenneth’s face darkened instantly. He said in a deep voice, “Ms. Yates is from the military department of Clusia. Where does Ms. Stark want to take her? Did she ask if we Clusians agree?”
Brut’s face became gloomy as well. He knew that Clusians cared about their citizens, but he didn’t expect this woman to be a member of the military department.
If he openly took away Clusia’s soldier, it would be causing a dispute between the two
countries.
Even accidentally hurting a citizen of Clusia wouldn’t have much impact. At least, they could explain and say that citizen was implicated in the war. However, the nature of taking away members of the army department was different.
Brut continued, “Why should I believe you? Do you have any proof?”
“My presence is the best proof. Clusia won’t intervene in the matter between Ms. Stark and Queen Leanna, but if you want to take our people away, we won’t turn a blind eye to it.” Kenneth looked at Brut sternly, and his tone was firm.
“Mr. Zelinski, take Ms. Yates back. I’ll handle this.”
Theodore thought, ‘As long as Cassie leaves, nothing will be a problem!
“Thank you, Mr. Yates.”
Kenneth thought, ‘It would be the best to let Theodore handle this. I can’t harm those people easily, but he can do it at will.‘
Kenneth took Cassandra’s hand and strode
away.
Seeing Cassandra safely in the car, Theodore looked at Brut with bloodthirsty and cold
eyes.
He snatched a gun from one of his men and shot Brut straight through the middle of his eyebrow…
“You can threaten me with anyone, but if you want to hurt Cassie, you’ll have to die.”
Theodore turned around and left with his men, leaving Brut lying in a pool of blood…
