Jane held the wheel tightly.

Gilda chuckled, “Ha–ha, Mr. Harrington, I’m afraid you took me wrong. I don’t need more friends. I’m also very picky. Not everyone deserves to be my friend.”
Jensen understood the sarcasm and rejection in her tone.

Gilda thought, ‘It was Jensen who drove me away.
‘It was Jensen who killed all my love for him.
“So, after everything I’ve been through, what makes Jensen think that I should accept his apology and start over again?
“He is insane. Doesn’t he know that it’s too late to apologize?”
Gilda closed the window, stepped on the gas, and left without a word.
