Chapter 459 Jeffrey Wants to Kill Me
“I doubt he’ll want to learn medicine from Professor Turner. I saw the medical notes he wrote
when I was a child. Those words are simply impossible for a human to write…” Melanie said with a straight face.
Jeffrey’s eyebrows shot up, amused by her seriousness, and he burst into satisfied laughter.

“Mel, are you still at the York estate? I heard Mr. Turner went to see you?” Eliza asked as soon as
she answered.
“Yes, I’m at Professor Turner’s research base now,” Melanie replied.
Eliza breathed a sigh of relief. After a few seconds of hesitation, as if making a difficult decision, she said, “I’m at the airport now. I’m flying to Medonia tomorrow. There’s something important I
need to tell you.”
“Can’t you tell me over the phone?” Melanie’s heart started to race.
“I’ve hesitated about this for a long time, but I still feel that I should tell you in person.” Eliza insisted. Then she added, “I’ve already met Madam Morgan. You also have something to tell me,
don’t you?”
Melanie choked up for a moment. She hadn’t expected her mother to learn about her and Jeffrey’s relationship from someone else first…
She agreed and hung up the phone, feeling somewhat uneasy.

Jeffrey took out the photos from his phone and showed them to Melanie. “This person who found the kidney donor for Judas received a large sum through an alias account. During that time, this person had close contact with Nathan. And if you look at this phone number…”
Jeffrey flipped through a few photos of call records. “This is the York family’s extension number.”
“So, you mean the person who ordered the hit on my father might not only be related to Nathan but also to the York family?” Melanie’s heart tightened.
Jeffrey nodded. “Over the years, the York family’s old mansion has been renovated several times. It will take some time to find out which room the extension number belonged to back then.”
“Nathan is now working together with Harlow, but did he have any connection with the York family back then?” Melanie thought for a moment and asked.

She came out of the bathroom and answered a call from an unknown number.
On the other end was Judas‘ frantic voice.
“Melanie! Help me! They want to kill me to silence me!”

“Jeffrey!” Judas answered, trembling.
