Angela frowned at Joseph while Jonathan shielded her by his side. They both stared at the panting Joseph, but neither of them responded.
Joseph caught his breath before continuing, “Zac is seriously ill. Come with me to see him, Angela.”

Considering Jonathan’s busy schedule, Angela shook her head and declined. “Oliver can come with me. You should go have your meal and return to the company.”

Spencer, the Lorenzo Family’s former company manager, was fired by the family. Jonathan thought he had potential and planned to make use of his abilities.
Upon hearing Jonathan’s assurance, Angela nodded in agreement.
They quickly arrived at the hospital, where Zacharias was admitted to the regular ward. Despite his transfer to Northland, Joseph’s influence had not grown enough to secure a private room in such a prestigious hospital.
A private room in a hospital like this would be impossible for an employee at his level.
Upon seeing Zacharias, Angela asked Jonathan and Joseph to wait outside while she gave Zacharias a check–up.

A hint of sadness lingered in his eyes as he gazed at Angela.

Zacharias hesitated before complying, revealing his frail frame.
