He spread out his arms to pull me in a hug. I hugged him. A fatherly hug that I would never forget in my entire life. Gabe was like a father that I never had. “No, I can’t accept this at all. You would need it too. What if…”

1 sat on the chair and went to my room. Yes, I had a room in his house and the kids have theirs too. Getting into my room, 1 dropped my bags on the couch and went straight into the bathroom.
Stripping off my clothes, I mixed my bath and got into the bathtub. I didn’t bother about the kids because I know they are somewhere with Gabe bothering him or playing with him or something. I do not care because I know they are always safer with Gabe.
