Anthony checked his phone, but none of the messages were from Genevieve, and even her essay–long messages 

were gone. 

‘It shouldn’t be like this,‘ thought Anthony. 

Seeing Anthony hadn’t forgotten the matter, Daniel didn’t dare to tell him Genevieve’s reaction that day and could only say subtly, “Maybe Ms. Lawrence didn’t want to bump into your parents because she knew they were 

here.” 

Anthony was persuaded by the reason, having a headache when thinking about the deep conflict between Genevieve and the Hoffman family.

It was that sense of alienation that made Anthony read the messages more carefully without replying to them.

Feeling guilty, Anthony wrote a paragraph of message solemnly after some thought. 

Although it was not as many words as Genevieve’s “essay“, Anthony had broken his limit to write that long

The manager, Charlie Clarke, happily welcomed them and asked kindly, “Should we send other customers off?” The store provided one–to–one services to VIP customers.

Selene happily nodded while sitting down, expressing her satisfaction. 

However, Genevieve felt something was missing in the end.

Ms. Lawrence chose it herself!” 

The edition was not just a garment but a collection, and Genevieve was planning to wear the same outfit as Selene together, which was why she ordered that expensive collection.

The staff changed her expression and whispered to Charlie, which made the latter react similarly and look up at 

the second floor. 

He stepped forward embarrassedly and explained, “Ms. Lawrence, Ms. Quinn, I’m sorry. Our staff made a mistake and took the clothes upstairs. Some guests are trying them on…” The mistake was considered damage to the profession’s reputation. 

Genevieve looked at Charlie’s frightened look and knew that the staff had a hard time doing their jobs, so she smiled and comforted him, “It’s okay. We can wait.” 

She thought the guests were just having a try–on and couldn’t buy the clothes even if they wanted to.

down. 

“This collection is certainly suitable for both of you,” a voice said, and Charlie’s expression changed. 

Everyone saw two people slowly descending the stairs, smiling brightly and satisfyingly. 

Charlie greeted them with a complicated expression. “Ms. Hoffman, Mrs. Thomson, have you finished checking the clothes?” 

Noticing the outfit on Lauraine, he felt like fainting, unable to utter words.

The dress was a new design by Pierre Ramsay, a famous designer in Friyx, and was something that money couldn’t buy. 

However, with Lauraine’s small and thin figure with a flat chest, the dress didn’t fit her size well.
