Genevieve had never spared them a glimpse throughout the interaction.
It was disgusting enough to just take a glance, so she pretended as though they didn’t exist.

Quincey’s face turned blue with fury. She pointed at Genevieve, saying, “Genevieve, don’t be so arrogant. “No, I’m not. You still have the nerve to come and see me. That Genevieve has totally changed after your divorce. She has gone against me the whole time. She wouldn’t even give her gown up to me. You’re not my son if you don’t avenge me!” she said.
Anthony looked calm and indifferent, but there was no emotion in his voice. “It’s just a gown. There’s nothing to fuss about. I have instructed them to send all the latest designs they have to you first from now on.”
