The woman outside the door muttered with confusion, and then the sound of the door lock
being turned came.
At that moment, Becky felt extremely lucky that Sigmund still had some dignity. They would have been undoubtedly discovered if the door hadn’t been locked.
She forcefully pushed Sigmund, trying to extricate herself from his arms.

That person became somewhat agitated, raising her voice.
“How could she be an intern? I’m talking about the new design director. Well… what’s her name again? Betty Adams? Yeah, that seems to be her name. I heard it from the director.
I’m not sure if it’s true.”
Becky didn’t pay any attention to their following conversation. Her mind was filled with the name “Betty Adams.”
The man standing in front of her suddenly made her feel nauseous.
“You asked your ex–girlfriend to work with you, and now you’re doing this to me here, huh?” Becky complained inwardly. “Is this a new fetish of yours?”
As Sigmund’s hand gradually moved upwards, Becky’s eyes turned cold. She narrowed her eyes, her gaze piercing through him. Her lips tightened into a thin line, showing her determination. Then, she opened her mouth, and just when Sigmund thought she was surrendering, he suddenly felt a sharp pain on his lower lip.

Becky bit Sigmund’s lower lip fiercely. For a moment, both of them clearly felt the taste of
blood in their mouths.
Sigmund’s gaze darkened slightly, and he released Becky in an instant. Then, he saw Becky wiping her lips over and over again as if she had touched something ominous.
Sigmund stared at her coldly, seemingly saying, “Do you think I’m disgusting or something?” His eyes bore into hers. His jaw clenched tightly.
Becky stood there, not sure how much time had passed. Finally, the sound of the two people leaving could be heard from outside.
Almost instantly, Becky pushed Sigmund out of the way and opened the door to the break. room. Her movements were quick and abrupt. Then, she turned around without looking back and walked away.
She felt that if she stayed with Sigmund any longer, she would eventually go crazy.
Sigmund walked out calmly, coincidentally running into Marsh, who was coming this way.
Marsh froze at the sight of Sigmund, wondering what had happened to his bitten lip.
“Well… if I’m not mistaken,” Marsh wondered, “that woman just now seemed to be Becky, right? Did she and Mr. Moolery make up? What were they doing in that room?”
While Marsh was telling himself that it was impossible, he wanted to ask about the progress, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.
Betty, who was following behind Marsh, also noticed the crimson mark on Sigmund’s lip and tightened her grip.

eyes when he looked at that woman.

“Humph, you ignorant and shameless bitch!” Betty cursed inwardly. “How dare you try to take Sigmund from me?”
By the time Betty entered the department’s office, most of her colleagues had already finished their lunch and returned to their positions.
Almost everyone saw Betty.
People had a good impression of her, and Becky even heard praise for Betty around her.
Becky remained calm without any emotional fluctuations. After all, this wasn’t her company, and she wasn’t the one paying Betty’s salary. She had no reason to care.
