Wyatt had no intention of giving even a small piece of the crimson mushroom to Ann.
It wasn’t that he was stingy. It was because it would be wasteful for someone without cultivation like Ann to consume such a valuable herb.
Wyatt thought Ann would give up after hearing what he said.
But to his surprise, she hesitated.
Wyatt was dumbfounded. Was she really considering to bare her naked self to him?
“Um… can I leave the most important piece on?” Ann finally said after hesitating for a long time.
Wyatt was stunned into silence. Although he really wanted to see it, the temptation of her beauty as strong as the crimson mushroom.

She decided to let it go this time.
Ann started to unzip even further.
Wyatt was taken aback. He hadn’t anticipated her boldness. Now, he found himself in a difficult position.
“Forget it, just have a tiny piece. What’s said is said,” he relented.
Wyatt found it hard to control himself at the sight of her exquisite collarbone. His breathing quickened involuntarily.
However, Ann’s phone suddenly rang at that moment. Her expression shifted slightly when she saw the number on the screen.
Then, she went to a nearby washroom to pick up the call.
She walked out after two minutes, fully dressed again.
She looked at Wyatt with a serious expression and said, “I need to deal with some trouble. Wyatt, please
finish up what you need as soon as possible. I might need your help”
Wyatt nodded without questions. It would only be natural for him to help her after accepting such precious gifts from her family.
Ann hurriedly left.
Wyatt focused his mind and freed his thoughts from distraction.
He directly broke off a piece of the crimson mushroom, placed it in his mouth, and swallowed it.
Almost immediately, the potent medicinal powers transformed into waves of heat. They coursed throught the damaged parts of his body under the guidance of his life force.
Ten minutes later, Wyatt had completely neutralized the medicinal powers. He was pleasantly surprised at how rejuvenated his body felt. The medicinal effects of the crimson mushroom exceeded his
expectations.
It also contained a rich energy.
“It seems like the crimson mushroom not only heals my injuries but could also elevate my cultivation to
the first stage of energy!”
Wyatt was pleasantly surprised. Mr. Moore had truly come through for him this time.
Meanwhile, the Golden Banquet was interrupted by an incident halfway through.
The guests had all left and two groups of people stood at war with each other in the main hall.
One of the parties was Ann and her bodyguards, totaling over a dozen people.
The other party had more than thirty people. They were armed and clearly harbored malicious intentions.
The leader of the group was an arrogant young man.
He had a head full of purple hair and somewhat sickly pale skin. A sinister smile adorned his handsome
face.
It was Kaleb Hutchinson. He didn’t mean much but he had a powerful father–Mikael Hutchinson.
Mikael was notorious in the martial world, known as Hades. He was indeed the undisputed King of the
Underworld in Yonada.
Even the powerful Moore family threaded carefully around Mikael.
It was inevitable that Mikael’s interests were harmed by the Moores extensive investments in Yonada.
Mikael had warned them before.
Ann had suspected that Mikael might be behind the sabotage of their companies‘ employees.
As for Kaleb, he was nothing more than a spoiled and arrogant scion of wealth. What was even more ridiculous was that he was trying to pursue her.

Ann wanted to puke at the sight of his purple hair.
“Kaleb, what are you trying to do?” Ann asked icily as she stared straight at Kaleb.
Kaleb flicked his purple hair. “I came to see you,” he said with a sinister smile.
“See me?” Ann’s expression remained frosty. “My family is hosting an evening banquet, and you barged in with dozens of armed men. Are you here to see me or to cause trouble?”
Kaleb narrowed his eyes and shamelessly scanned Ann’s seductive figure. “I’ve heard rumors about your little affair with someone named Wyatt…” he said, smirking.
His smirk twisted into a malevolent grin as he continued, “Tell Wyatt to come out. I’m going to…”
“Chop him into pieces!”
“And feed them to the dogs!”
