“She’s gorgeous, and everyone calls her the prettiest lady in Golde City. She’s also the queen of the
business world! She’s about five foot five-
Wyatt cut him off. “Cut to the chase, Tom. I’m not in the mood for this right now.”
Thomas snickered. “Alright, then. I have some good news for you. I’ve found a 500–year–old crimson mushroom. I’m sure such a rare item should be able to give you what you want.”
Wyatt’s eyes lit up. A 500–year–old crimson mushroom was enough to heal his injuries! “I’ll head to Golde City right now.”
“Hold your horses, buddy. I spent a fortune on this mushroom, and I want it for myself. How can I just give it to you so easily?” Thomas sounded haughty.
“Alright, alright. Tell me what you want.” Wyatt knew that he wouldn’t do anything that wasn’t in his favor.
Thomas‘ tone turned rather heavy. “Toledo Corporation’s run into some trouble in Yonada. No one else can handle it, so I’ll have to ask you to deal with it.
“My gorgeous granddaughter is going to seek you out in a while. I’ll give you the crimson mushroom once you resolve the issue.”
“Deal!” Wyatt didn’t even hesitate.
The crimson mushroom was much too important to him. With it, his injuries would be completely healed.
