William and Lucy arrived at Lakeview Villa after nearly an hour.
What should have been a half–hour journey took a full hour due to William’s deliberate delays.
It dawned on him during the journey that Weston had nothing in common with Hayley. It seemed that the
only reason he sent someone to take her was because he had taken a fancy to her beauty.
It just so happened that Hayley had been partnering with the Moore family recently, so she might have crossed paths with Weston and caught his attention. That seemed to be the explanation for it.
Therefore, William deliberately slowed down, so that he could go after Weston had had his way.
If they had arrived too soon and spoiled Weston’s fun, they would be in big trouble!
If he waited for Weston to finish his business before taking away Hayley, Weston would actually perceive
him as a sensible individual.
William was indeed quite a shrewd person.
Meanwhile, Lucy, who was sitting beside him, was getting increasingly anxious. She kept urging William,
which prompted William to inwardly curse the foolish woman.
After arriving at Lakeview Villa, William deliberately went to the wrong place, eventually extending the delay by over half an hour.
Given Weston’s age, William thought that two hours would be more than enough for him. Only then did he
bring Lucy to Weston’s residence.
However, before they reached the entrance, they were stopped by two burly men in black. After that, they
were told that the area was under lockdown and no one was permitted to come any closer.
When he noticed the menacing look on the two men’s faces, William was frightened and quickly pulled
Lucy away.
William was somewhat puzzled. Why would a lockdown be imposed when Weston was simply handling
his affairs?
“Lucy, let’s wait until the lockdown is lifted before we go in,” William said as they walked toward their car.
Lucy was very worried. “What about Hayley?”
“Don’t worry, Mr. Moore is from the Moore family, so he definitely won’t hurt Hayley. He probably called Hayley over to discuss the cooperation.”
After hearing that, Lucy felt a slight relief, and she could only anxiously wait alongside William.
Ann was startled by the sudden loss of balance, but she immediately felt the strong and forceful embrace of Wyatt. Before she knew it, she was being princess–carried by him.

She exclaimed, “What are you doing. Wyatt? L–let me down!”
Wyatt remained silent. Ann was simply too much. He had foolishly helped her kill people, only to realize that she had deceived him.
Ann took advantage of the situation and acted coyly, insisting that he had taken advantage of her. She even claimed that she was his woman, and accused him of nitpicking everything.
Since that was the case, Wyatt might as well just satisfy her. He would let her understand the consequences of messing with him.
A loud thud echoed as Wyatt forcefully kicked open the bedroom door.
“I’m so sorry, Wyatt! I know it’s my fault. I’ll never say such things again,” Ann pleaded as she felt Wyatt’s
enormous strength, as if he was going to crush her.
Ann immediately panicked as Wyatt seemed to be getting serious. With Wyatt’s strength, which was even
more brutal than a beast’s, wouldn’t she be tortured to death?
Moreover, when she noticed the aloof and sinister expression on Wyatt’s face, it seemed like he was a
heartless cad.
Ann was truly frightened.
“Let go of me, bastard!”
Ann struggled to break free. She took hold of Wyatt’s arm and fiercely bit down.
Wyatt winced in pain. Ann actually dared to bite him! She was really asking for trouble!
Wyatt lifted Ann onto his shoulder, then he reached out and forcefully smacked her backside.
A resounding slap echoed across the room. Wyatt seemed to have exerted quite some force into the slap.
Ann couldn’t bear it when that bit of force landed on her.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she involuntarily let out a groan from the intense pain.
Wyatt delivered another slap again, this time with even more force.
Ann cried from the pain and she kept pleading for mercy.
“I’m sorry, Wyatt. It’s all my fault. Please stop hitting me!”
Ann gazed at Wyatt pitifully. She was genuinely repentant this time.
Regrettably, it was already too late.
When Wyatt unleashed his fury, the entire martial world would tremble, let alone a weak woman like Ann.

“Kneel down.”
Wyatt glared at Ann, who was now visibly much more obedient, and coldly ordered.
Ann was stunned. Did he really just ask a young lady of her standing to kneel down before him?
“Kneel down!”
Wyatt’s voice grew louder, and his gaze became even more imposing.
Ann’s heart trembled, her legs buckled, and she involuntarily knelt down before Wyatt.
“W–what do you intend to do?” Ann’s face was filled with humiliation.
Since childhood, she had always been the esteemed heiress of the Moore family, and now she was even a successful businesswoman in the business world. Yet at this moment, she was kneeling before a man.
“Did you deceive me?” Wyatt asked expressionlessly.
Ann hesitated briefly before nodding. She had indeed deceived Wyatt. She knew perfectly well it was only a Centennial Emberbloom. Yet, she told him that it was a Millennium Emberbloom.
“Ms. Moore, do you understand the consequences of your actions?”
Wyatt’s cold gaze sent a shiver down Ann’s spine. When she recalled how Wyatt had casually slaughtered a group of people earlier, she became even more frightened.
“Wyatt, I know I’m wrong. Please spare me. After all, I’m your woman. I’m willing to do anything you ask, so please stop hitting me.”
Ann was better off not saying that. As soon as she said it, Wyatt was furious again.
“Are
you saying that you’re willing to do anything I ask?”
Hayley, who was hiding in the closet, heard the noise at the door. It seemed like the man and the woman
were arguing.
Moments later, there was a resounding thud, and the bedroom door was kicked open. Hayley held her
breath in fear.
However, when she saw that it was Wyatt who came in, she was utterly dumbfounded.
Moreover, Wyatt was also holding a woman in his arms. It was none other than Annette, the vixen who had been by his side before.
She didn’t know why Wyatt and Annette were here. However, that didn’t really matter. What mattered was what the two of them were engaging in.
Hayley, who had been hiding in the closet, saw and heard everything clearly.
