Chapter 10
Third person POV
Aldric was seen pausing for a moment after listening to Oliv’s question. Then Aldric nodded, making Olivia’s eyeballs round perfectly.
“So Arthur saw me when I fainted?” asked Oliv frantically.
“So it’s true, yes, my guess. Alpha Arthur was looking for you.” Aldric gave a small nod. “But no Oliv, he didn’t see you. Instead he asked me, because he felt he recognized your hair, he also asked me if I accepted the new wolf or not.”
“Did… did you tell Arthur about me?”
“No.” Aldric smiled warmly. I already had an instinct that you were hiding.”
“Are you serious?” squealed Oliv happily. “Thank you so much, Alpha!”
“Yeah, I don’t know why I had to hide you from him either, Aldric said.
Thank you!” said Olivia with sincerity and a happy face. “Actually I was just trying to avoid Arthur, I…” Oliv felt her eyes heat up as she got carried away. “I just want him not to know my existence, I just want to live quietly from him.”
Aldric nodded as if he understood. “I had little idea that the mate who left you was Alpha Athur. So you are a great Luna Dechishon, huh?” Aldric praised making Oliv blush.
“That’s in the past, I’m not part of Dechishon anymore now,” said Oliv.
“Yes. But you’re still very good.”
Olivia smiled. “I don’t know why an Alpha like you likes to praise me,” Oliv said honestly.
“Oliv, I’m serious. Do you still want to be an Omega? You can be more than that here,” Aldric said.
“Alpha, I really don’t think I deserve it right now. Let me be an Omega.”
“Fine, but if anyone hurts you, don’t ever hesitate to report to me.”
Olivia nodded with a smile so wide that her eyes narrowed. “I won’t forget that. I’m so glad you hid me from Alpha Arthur, I owe you a favor.”
“You’re welcome,” Aldric said sincerely. “Now rest until you are fully recovered.”.

The next day. I was grateful that my body felt better than yesterday after listening to Alpha Aldric’s advice to keep resting. I felt that my body was not as painful as yesterday.
“You’ve had enough rest, Oliv. Now it’s time to return to duty as an Omega,” I said to myself with a sweet smile welcoming the morning
I walked towards the Omega’s quarters. My real place was there, where the rest was only temporary,
My steps slowed down when I was in the Omega’s room, they immediately gave me a sardonic look. I don’t know why the atmosphere feels unpleasant. I thought they welcomed me quite well yesterday. Was it because I had dropped the dishes yesterday?
“Madame Elle, I… would like to apologize for failing to deliver the dishes yesterday.” I said.
Mrs. Elle looked at me with a sharp gaze. I didn’t know why her attitude had changed this drastically.
“Yes. Next time, do it properly!” Mrs. Elle snapped. She left me alone. “Now clean up the castle, don’t be lazy, let alone rest all day!”
1 gaped. I stared at Madame Elle as she walked out of Omega’s room.
“What did I do wrong?” I said in a daze. I saw Elijah pass in front of me and called out to him. “Elijah!”
He turned his head but did not turn around, his gaze cynical with one eyebrow raised.
I was even more astonished.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” I asked gently. “I wanted to ask you, did you hear that Madame Elle was upset with me-”
I didn’t finish my sentence, but Elijah left me. I didn’t know why, her demeanor had changed drastically. But instead of thinking about it all, I chose to quickly carry out my duty to clean the castle.
An hour passed. It turned out that it wasn’t just Omega and Elijah’s gazes that turned cynical towards me, but almost all of Omega. No one wanted to answer me when I asked them questions. Even when I smiled. they didn’t reply to me at all.
“Olivia! Let’s wash the dishes now!” Elijah’s order suddenly startled me.
“Why me?” It’s not that I want to protest, it’s just that I heard clearly that the Ifead of Omega told Elijah to wash, not me. I had already done a lot of the work.
“What do you mean, don’t want to work?!” Elijah snapped at me.
I wasn’t going to keep quiet. I don’t like being bullied. “I heard Mrs. Elle told you to, not me!” I said out loud without fear and looked at Elijah sharply.
I saw Elijah glaring and came closer to me. “What did you say? A new Omega like you shouldn’t dare to challenge me!” Elijah said as he grabbed my hair, I was very surprised but before long, I responded easily.

My strength and prowess which I felt was greater than Elijah’s made him fall easier. Just one push and I had her stumbling on the floor.
Elijah looked surprised, but still angry. “You hurt me!” he screeched excessively.
“What’s wrong?” Mrs. Elle came over angrily. “What did you do to Elijah Mrs. Elle gave me a sharp look.
“Not my fault,” I said fearlessly.
“Keep quiet, or Alpha Aldric will see this and punish you both!” said Mistress Elle.
I saw Elijah still sitting on the floor with an expression of pain that I believed was only made up to get Mrs. Elle’s attention.
“Hurry up and wash the dishes, Oliv! This castle must always be clean!” Madame Elle ordered, making my shoulders slump.
Why me? It didn’t seem fair.
But the bad thing was, I couldn’t refuse. With the humility I was trying to build up, I finally gave in. Turning around to go to the sink.
“Haha, feel it, you think you’re good?” Elijah said softly as I passed by him.
I just gave her a cynical look and left. I guess there’s no point in arguing with a she-wolf like Elijah.
I just needed to wash the dishes with focus and perform my duties as an Omega well.
“Elijah is spreading bad news about you.”
I gasped when I heard the voice next to me. A hazel-eyed woman.
“Who are you?” I asked, not focusing on the topic of conversation, but focusing on who she was.
“I’m Omega, like you.”
“Your name?”
“Becca,” she said with a flat face. I watched her like a cold she-wolf.
“What were you talking about?” I asked.
“Elijah. She was eavesdropping while you were talking to your Beta mate, Thea, about you being an outcast Luna picked up by Alpha Aldric, Becca explained tonelessly.
I was shocked. “Are you serious? Elijah did it?”
Becca nodded. “I know you’re curious why the attitude of the people in the castle changed. Including our head Omega, no one likes outcast Luna.”

Becca’s words seemed genuine though a little harsh. I also felt that she was sincere and caring.

“Elijah is too much! That was a secret I was trying to hide!” I said angrily. “Thank you for telling me.”
1 saw Becca nodding with a face that was still cold. “If you need help, just come see me,” she said as she walked away from me.
I smiled. It turned out that there was still a good wolf who would accept me as I was after knowing my past.
“Becca, I’ll remember her name”
Third person POV
“You heard what Alpha Aldric said, didn’t you?”
Brian nodded. “Yes, Alpha Arthur. I heard it clearly. Sorry if I’m being presumptuous but… what’s wrong? Do you still feel that it’s really Olivia and Alpha Aldric lying?”
Arthur let out a long breath. “I don’t know but clearly, I feel something is off,” Arthur said about his feelings.
“Do you not trust Alpha Aldric?” guessed Brian but didn’t get an answer from Arthur for a long time.
“I don’t know. I don’t think Alpha Aldric would lie. But…” Arthur trailed off.
Brian waited faithfully. “But what?”
“My curiosity has yet to be answered. If Olivia can’t be found in the rest of the forest, is it okay if we look for her in Alpha Aldric’s Pack castle?” Arthur asked mysteriously.
“That’s fine, Alpha. But… are we going to do this openly?”
Arthur grinned, his gray eyes sharpening as he locked eyes with Brian. “Of course not. Alpha Aldric will not allow that. We… have to approach them more, to find out about this.”
Brian nodded in understanding, but he had something to say that felt off. “Sorry in advance if I’m being presumptuous, Alpha.”
Arthur gave Brian a disapproving look, but allowed his subordinate to speak.
“Are… are you sure you’re going to go this far just for Olivia? Is it just for that pregnancy test? If so, we should abandon our plans. I’m sure it’s not Olivia’s, maybe Omega accidentally dropped it while cleaning up the room. You… don’t have to go this far.”
“What do you mean, Brian!”
“I’m
sorry, but this concerns our Pack. I think Alpha Aldric would be furious if he found out we had hidden plans, and it would destroy our good relationship with Pack Alpha Aldric.”

Arthur silently digested his Beta’s words.
“You are smart, there is nothing wrong with you being a Beta. Maybe you’re right but I don’t care, I just. want to talk to Olivia once, to ask questions and make sure I’m not always haunted by curiosity. Do you understand?”
Brian bunkam. He couldn’t comment, could only agree with his Alpha’s unanimous decision.
“All right, Alpha Arthur. I’m sure if it’s true that Olivia is in that castle, I’ll find her quickly.”
“I’ll pitch in and
intervene myself.”
