Chapter 3
Arthur’s POV
Fifteen years earlier
“Arthur, mom will tell you if your mate is a girl who has a crescent necklace around her neck. My mother explained when we were between battles.
At the time. I was confused as to why my mother would talk about something like that in a time of war. But it turned out that the answer was because I had lost my mother that day. Even though it was an emergency she had to say it.
“What do you mean?” I asked because I didn’t understand.
“It’s because I don’t want you to make the wrong choice. She’s the kind-hearted girl who should be your mate.” Mom showed me a necklace of hers. It was in the shape of a crescent moon as mentioned. “It has to be exactly like this.”
Mom’s words stuck in my mind forever. Unfortunately, she had to be killed by our enemies. Naturally, our clan was still weak back then. After my parents’ deaths during the war, I became obsessed with training to become stronger. I was determined to make my parents’ clan the strongest clan. I practiced every day tirelessly, until I became the strong Alpha I am now.
Growing up, I began to seriously think about what my mother said about my mate. Fate took when I accidentally found a beautiful girl with the necklace my mother was referring to.
“My name is Belle,” she said at the time. Her innocent face made me immediately interested.

On the other hand, I had prepared a birthday surprise for Oliv since a long time ago. I never forgot it, except when Belle woke up now.
While looking for a solution, Omega knocked on my bedroom door. I opened it quickly.
“L-luna Oliv went to the secret room.”

My shout stopped her movement. I dragged her out in anger. I didn’t expect Oliv to be that
cu n n i n g. Even though I was kind enough to pick her up. But her reply was like this.
Out of anger, I rejected her in front of all the wolves. She left without me bothering to chase her away.
I was a little pitying at the time, but mom’s words about the necklace made me firm again.
Today, however, I found myself regretting Olivia’s departure. In our room, on top of our bed, I find a pregnancy test. A line of two. I don’t understand what that means,
“Brian! Come here!” I called to the Beta of our clan.
Without further ado, I showed it to him. Brian accepted the object. I asked Brian since the wolf already
had a cub.
I saw Brian’s forehead furrow. “Line two? Whose?”
I snorted harshly. Instead of answering, he asked.
“What does it mean?” I said impatiently. Putting on a creepy look.
“Pregnant. It means obviously pregnant.”
I froze for a moment when Brian explained that. My heart seemed to stop beating for a few seconds. My face felt cold. My gaze was blank.
“Alpha? Are you listening to me? Does this belong to Luna Belle?”
I s n a tc h e d it out of Brian’s hand and went into my room without giving him any explanation. I locked the door, sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the things.

What did Brian say? Pregnant? Who’s pregnant here?
“Olivia…”
Just by remembering that name, my regret suddenly surfaced. I shook my head, pushing away the though that Olivia was pregnant.
“If she was pregnant, she would have told me,” I reassured myself.
‘I have a surprise for you’
Olivia’s words a few days ago made my body suddenly cold even in the midday heat. I imagined Olivia’s cheerful face. It’s about how she enthusiastically said she had a surprise but I remember just waltzing off t the bathroom.
