Sadney’s room hat undergone a complete renovation for three days. After the smell of fresh paint had dissipated, he had to wall another month before moving in. In the meantime, he had no choice but to temporarily wish to another bedroom.
Christine stayed at the Pierce Family’s house for a full five days and took the opportunity to explore the nearby stresa.
In front of the entrance to Pierce Mall stood the Wimbels Brand, displaying its opulent allure, Chrisime stood still, pausing her steps, and admired the elegant logo. Before long, a middle–aged man in a gray suit and tie approached from a distance. He bore the appearance of a CEO. Upon seeing Christine, he quickly extended his hand with enthusiasm. “Seeing you in person today is even better than hearing about you a hundred times.”
The man’s expression was filled with excitement as if he had just encountered a legendary figure. Little did he expect that the person he had imagined meeting countless times turned out to be an eighteen- year–old young girl. Her youth and achievements were truly admirable,

Christine responded with a smile. After a brief chat, she raised her lips and urged him, “Let’s quickly discuss your ideas for collaboration. I have limited time.”
The middle–aged man’s expression momentarily turned serious. “To be honest, I wanted to invite you to participate in the upcoming award ceremony…”
Meanwhile, inside the Royal Coffee House, Melissa sat with her head bowed, wiping away her tears. She could not help but ask, “Is it true that your cousin is getting engaged?”
Her question drew the attention of Yanice, who reached out and held her hand. With a sincere and urgent gaze, Yanice replied, “Don’t be sad, Mel. Nothing has been finalized yet.”
Melissa’s face froze momentarily.
The Pierce Family, known as the wealthiest family in the capital, had Sidney as their sole heir. If she could marry into the Pierce Family, she would become the young mistress of the prestigious household, earning the admiration of countless individuals and commanding respect from society.
She sighed lightly, a tinge of sorrow in her smile. “Yanice, it’s futile. They were promised to each other from a young age, and Madam Pierce is so fond of Miss Morgan… Huh. I am nothing compared to her.”
Melissa gently pulled her hand away from Yanice’s grasp and picked up her designer bag, pretending to leave.
