Back in their room, Rhett reached out, pulling Kristin into his arms and planting a kiss on her lips. It was a kiss with a bite, a reminder. “From now on, think twice before you do something dangerous, okay? You’ve got a family, kids.”
And a husband.
A sharp pain shot through Kristin’s lip as it split under the pressure, tears welling up in her
eyes.
Turns out, thero’s a world of difference between biting your own lip and having someone olso do it.
“Lesson learned?” Rhett asked.
Red–eyed, Kristin nodded.
“My wound… It hurts,” Rhett said, leaning on Kristin’s shoulder for support.
Kristin, her nerves on edge, suggested, “Take a shower first. I’ll call the resort doctor to take a look.”
Rhett peeled off his shirt, revealing a sculpted back that tapered down to an enviable V–shape–muscular with clothes on, svelte without.
“Check it out for me,” Rhett teased, intentionally flirting.
Remembering how the Lewis brothers had strutted like peacocks in front of Kristin, Rhett felt a twinge of annoyance.
“Looks like it stopped bleeding,” said Kristin, her cheeks aflame and her heart racing.
Rhett raised an eyebrow. “It did?”
She nodded. The wound wasn’t serious–just a graze.
“It hurts,” Rhett said, his acting skills on point, feigning inability to lift his arm.
Worry flashed through Kristin’s eyes. “I… Let me help you in the shower.”
That’s exactly what Rhett had been waiting for. He pulled her into the bathroom and pinned her against the door.
Kristin then realized she had been tricked.
Her ears blazed even redder as she stuttered, “Just a shower, nothing else.”
“Just a shower, I promise,” Rhett said, his lips curving into a smile before he kissed her again.
Kristin held her breath, nearly suffocating..

You’re lying, she accused.
“Nothing else,” Rhett’s smile deepened, sly as a fox tempting a timid rabbit
Kristin was blushing from head to toe, her swimsuit quickly stripped anal
“You said you’d help me shower, Rhett reminded her as he turned on the shower, waving the sand from her skin.
He could have taken what he wanted by force–after all, Kristin needed him, depended on him. But he still sought her consent, playfully.
Shivering, Kristin leaned against the wall, her breathing tight.
Rhett’s touch was too much.
The temperature in the bathroom rose steadily, and Kristin felt lightheaded.
“I’ll, I’ll help…” She quickly grabbed the showerhead, rinsing the sand from Rhett’s back, being careful around the wound.
Rhett stood with his hands against the wall, the contours of his back making Kristin envious.
Compelled by some unseen force, she reached out to trace his muscles and lines–the defined lats, the cut waistline, the rows of abs.
“You can be bolder,” Rhett encouraged, catching her hand and guiding it around him…
It was too much.
Kristin’s heart raced, and she uttered in a trembling voice, “Don’t, don’t go too far.”
“Did I go too far? But I’m all yours.” Rhett stopped teasing her and turned to kiss her again. Kristin felt dizzy, overwhelmed by Rhett’s advances, her mind going blank.
After what seemed like an eternity, with her hair nearly dry from the heat, Rhett finally wrapped her in a towel and carried her out of the shower.
“I’ll rinse off, and you rest. Order whatever you want from the staff,” Rhett said, feeling like his temper had been running hot lately…

He wanted to tease her again but feared scaring her off. So he left for a cold shower
alone.
Kristin curled up in bed like a cooked shrimp, hiding under the covers, her face buried in
her hands.
It was all so erotic. Rhett’s physique was just too perfect…

Her phone buzzed. It was a message from Harriet.
She had arrived in Silvergrove City and rented a place.
“On a business trip with Mr. FitzGerald?” Harriet sent a cheeky emoji
“Yup,” Kristin replied with another emoji.
“Sharing a room with Mr. FitzGerald?” Harriet added a playful emoji.
A bit embarrassed yet trusting Harriet completely, Kristin confirmed, “Yes.”
“Did anything happen?”
“Well, yes…” Kristin’s face was aflame.
“If you want to hold on to Rhett, you gotta learn to flirt a bit. You’re way too reserved, Kristin,” Harriet advised, genuinely concerned. “Let me teach you.”
Kristin, her ears burning, was speechless.
Moments later, Harriet sent a flurry of tutorial videos.
Kristin peeked at one and was so startled she flung her phone across the room.
Just then, Rhett emerged from the bathroom to see Kristin, red as a ripe apple, tossing her phone from the bed.
“Phone too hot to handle?” Rhett teased, reaching to pick up the device.
“Don’t!” Kristin panicked, scrambling off the bed, regretting her impulsive action.
But it was too late. Rhett had picked up the phone and accidentally opened the tutorial video.
Silence filled the air.
Kristin’s heart pounded as she stole a glance at Rhett, ‘Mr. FitzGerald…*
Rhett squinted at the screen, seriously considering the tutorial. “Am I not flirtatious enough?”
“No, that’s not it…” Kristin waved her hands frantically. “It’s just… for learning…”
She wished she could disappear into thin air.
Harriet was a menace.
“Oh, you mean my skills aren’t up to par, huh?” Rhett looked enlightened. “Perhaps I should study this too.”

No… you are…not bad.” Kristin was on the brink of tears, mortified beyond belief.
Rhett closed the distance between them.
Kristin, in her fear, stepped back.
Just moments ago, he had been holding back, not wanting to scare the bunny away.
Now, it seemed she had a stronger constitution than he thought. “I’ve learned it, shall we practice?”
Kristin’s ears blazed with heat. “No, we can’t.”
She felt like she was falling apart.
“You ask me to learn, but won’t let me practice. What kind of teacher does that…” Rhett grumbled, lifting Kristin up so she sat wrapped around his waist.
Afraid of falling, Kristin clung to Rhett. “No, we really can’t.”
“If I say we can, we can. Let’s start with the first routine…”
Rhett counted the number of instructional clips Harriet had sent Kristin. There were six in total.
Planting a kiss on Kristin’s ear, Rhett’s voice was laden with allure. “Tonight, we’ll practice each one, and tomorrow… you’ll write a report on the practice.”
Kristin looked at Rhett in panic, wanting to flee, but he grabbed her by the waist and kissed her deeply.
How many times they went through the routine that night, Kristin had lost track. She cried herself hoarse, her eyes swollen.
“Rhett, you’re too much…” she mumbled before drifting into a troubled sleep.
The next afternoon, the first thing Rhett did upon waking was to pull her into his embrace and kiss her forehead.
Kristin was terrified, struggling as she spoke. “No, we can’t, there are… none left.”
They had run out of condoms.
She felt like she was at death’s door.
Suddenly, an urgent ring of the doorbell echoed, accompanied by a child’s frantic voice. “Mommy! Mommy open up! I know you’re in there.”
Rhett’s face darkened instantly. It was that little troublemaker from the Lewis family.
