Fiona was gently stroking Lizetta’s hand, the affection was palpable.

Evelina was wheeled out of the operating room half an hour after her amniocentesis, a procedure that didn’t require anesthesia. Seeing nobody waiting for her, she started causing a scene. 

Remington nodded, “Let’s roll.” 

Cedric glanced in the rearview mirror and, sure enough, spotted an inconspicuous black car trailing behind them. 

Frowning. Cedric said, “Mr. Dashiell, maybe we should have Ray beef up the security. That woman has been tailing us for days. She’s out
