“If by consequences you mean getting a divorce, you can do it whenever you want. I’ve already prepared the papers for you.”
Obviously, he was angrier after that. He forced me to sit on the snooker table and tightened his grip on my chin.
It seemed like his eyes were burning with rage as he coldly said, “If you think a divorce is enough to stun me, you’re thinking too highly of yourself, Taylor!”
If memory served me right, this was one of the few times we had gotten this close to each other after our marriage. We were so close I could see the pores on his face and smell the faint perfume on him.

Gordon could publicly mess around with other women and drink as much as he wanted while I couldn’t even wear whatever or be wherever I wanted.

“Sorry, I can’t do that,” I nonchalantly answered him.
Then, I walked around hirm like nothing happened and winked at Hector. “Mr. Judd, shall we have another

“Taylor Morgan!” Gordon roared uncontrollably behind me.
However, I acted like I heard nothing and hinted at Hector for us to continue.
“Sure! I have yet to meet my match when it comes to snooker. Let’s continue…”
I only wanted to use Hector to anger Gordon. Since Hector was Gordon’s best friend, I was prepared to be rejected by him.
However, not only did Hector not reject me, he did the exact opposite.
He used to follow Gordon like a shadow. But that night, he purposely got close to me. With a nod, he came to me with two cue sticks.
I had drunk a lot in room eight that night. Since I hadn’t drunk in so long, I was starting to get buzzed.
Just as I was about to take the cue stick from Hector, I suddenly felt dizzy. I lost my balance and fell
toward the table next to me.

Gordon used to flirt like this to provoke me and hurt my feelings. I would turn into a lunatic and become a laughingstock.

“Are you alright?”
He supported my body with all his strength until he made sure I found my balance. Then, he finally let go.

Just as I was pondering, there was an ear–piercing shattering noise in the room.
Before I could react, a large hand suddenly pulled me back. After that, I was forced into another person’s
embrace.
I smelled a familiar perfume scent. When I looked up, I realized Gordon was standing firm in front of me.
As for the loud noise just now, it was Gordon throwing a cue stick at a glass surface.
The cue stick lay flat on the coffee table, and the glass mugs on top fell to the ground along with the
expensive wine.
Soon, the ground was covered in a stream of red liquid that slowly flowed toward my feet and Gordon’s.
“Taylor, who said you could be so slutty?”

I couldn’t help but chortle and lifted my head with a provoking gaze. “You’re always so wild when you’re outside. So, what’s wrong with me being slutty? Wouldn’t that make us the perfect pair?”
“Shut up!”
Gordon couldn’t be more angrier.
“Then, stop minding my business. It’s fine if you don’t want to get a divorce. We’ll just have our own fun and not interfere with each other,” I casually said.
After so many years, this was the first time I was disobeying him in front of so many people.
It really felt great to be rebellious like this. My emotions weren’t controlled by someone else anymore.

However, not only did he not let go, but he tightened his grip around my waist. It was so tight that I felt like I was suffocating

His eyes were blazing red as he commanded me once more. His domineering attitude was enough to
make anyone cower and tremble in fear.

If I faced him like this in my previous life, I would’ve kneeled in front of him in shock like a servant.
Now, it had no effect on me at all. I faintly smiled at him and seductively circled my finger on his chest.
“You want me to go home? Sure. Why don’t you give that bitch from earlier a call and tell her to disappear from now on?”
I didn’t actually think he would do that. I only said that to challenge his authority.
However, I didn’t expect he would lift me off the ground right after I finished talking.
Before I could react, I was on his shoulder. Then, he furiously stormed out of the room while single- handedly carrying me in front of everyone.
