Olivia’s POV
“Olivia? What a pretty name, just like the person.”
I saw the person smiling widely, he was already standing right in front of me.
I returned it with a clumsy smile. “Thank you…”
“Oh yeah, let me introduce. My name is Thea. By the way, you’re expecting a baby too?” She extended her hand towards me.

My footsteps stopped. There was something off about the words of this woman I had only known for a fe

“Why?” asked Thea as she stopped and returned to my side.
“Alpha Aldric?” I muttered in confirmation. I could have just misheard.
Thea frowned and nodded. “Yes? Why, are you curious about him?” Thea asked enthusiastically.
I shook my head. I didn’t know how to answer or explain. I never knew that Aldric, who had done so mu for me, was the Alpha of a large wolf pack.

“This is my room, you have to tell me now!” Thea said as she closed the door to the room she called at

Thea led me to sit on the edge of the bed.

My eyes immediately bulged. I shook my head.
“No… absolutely not!”
Thea still looked incredulous. “Come on, Alpha Aldric hasn’t had a partner all this time. It’s okay if your relationship is still a secret, I can keep it a secret.”
Thea’s accusation made my head become a throbbing pain. Thea was thinking too far. I don’t know how to explain to Thea that I’m not who she thinks I am.
“Are you quiet?” Thea was still pestering my frantic mind. “That means it’s true? I knew it! An Alpha Aldric bringing a beautiful girl to the castle, you’re definitely not a random person!” she screeched, making me unable to stay silent.
Thea, please listen to me,” I pleaded gently to get her to stop smiling to herself.
Thea’s eyebrows rose, her eyes lit up and looked at me fully. “Let’s explain!”
Before talking to Thea, I caught my breath for a while. I really needed a friend to talk to during this time. It seems like Thea is a nice girl too. I… could probably tell her everything about my life, hoping that Thea wouldn’t hate an outcast Luna like me.

“You’re not lying, are you?” Thea asked with a suspicious look.
I let out a small sigh. “I swear,” I said hoping Thea would believe me.
“All right. But why did he bring you to this castle? Where’s your partner?”
The question I had been avoiding the most finally rang out.

I smiled wryly. “Alpha Aldric is a good man. He took pity on me because I had no place to stay. I’m… an outcast Luna. I used to be Alpha Arthur Dechishon’s mate.”
I saw Thea’s eyes bulge. “Dechishon? You really were in that clan?” she asked in surprise.
I nodded.
“Hey, the Dechishon are the strongest wolf descendants in the world, almost on par with our pack even though our numbers are slightly smaller!”
“Yes, I know that. But… that’s in the past. I’m not part of them anymore now.”
“You’re right. But you’re still cool. No wonder Alpha Aldric said you were beautiful and good at fighting!”
I shook my head. “It’s not like that.”
“Never mind Oliv. Don’t be sad, you are now part of our wolf pack which is just as strong as Dechishon,” Thea said with a sweet smile.
I looked at her in disbelief. “Y-you don’t hate me after knowing I’m just an outcast Luna?”
I saw Thea laughing instead. “No, no, no. Not at all. You’re amazing, from a great clan. I know Alpha Aldric wouldn’t take just anyone. I’m just curious why you call yourself an outcast Luna.”
I felt relieved. I thought Thea would hate me and look down on me after learning of my status. It turned out not to be the case, Thea was better than I had ever thought.
“Alright. I’ll tell you….”
Arthur’s POV
It had been one week since Olivia’s departure. But I was still haunted by curiosity about the pregnancy test I found under her pillow.
I should have just let it be thrown away by the omega who cleaned the room, but instead I picked it up like it was a precious diamond.
The eighth day Olivia was gone, I stared at it in my room. A curiosity creeps up, making me keep asking questions without having any answers.

There was one thing I needed to be sure of.
“Is Olivia really pregnant?” I murmured.
My daydream was interrupted by a knock on the door.
“Come in!”
From the reflection of the large mirror I saw Beta Brian enter after bowing in salute. “What’s wrong with calling me, Alpha Arthur?”
I turned the chair to face him. I showed him an object that I was sure Brian would understand what it
meant.
“I hope this is a secret between the two of us.”
Beta Brian nodded obediently. “Of course, until death I won’t dare to divulge it without your permission, Alpha.”
I nodded. “Good,” I said with a long sigh. “I need reassurance, a conclusive answer.”
Beta Brian furrowed his brow. “Sorry Alpha Arthur, I don’t understand your point.”
“Have the wolves search the entire forest for Olivia. Bring her to me and remember one thing, hide your search and anything about Olivia from Luna Belle. I’m not trying to betray Belle, I just want to make sure of something.” I explained..
“Good Alpha, I totally understand what you mean.”
“Good, now go find Olivia. I’m sure she must still be in the forest, she must not have a place to stay yet,” I said making Beta Brian nod obediently and exit the room.
