Chapter 7
Third person POV
The sound of loud punches was heard several times, and Arthur was the culprit. Arthur was beating Brian. with a burning rage.
“Why did you let me down, Brian? This is the first time you’ve failed!” Arthur said with a cold, untouched. face. His fingernails were turning white.
Brian looked down, occasionally wincing at the pain all over his body. He didn’t resent the Alpha beating him, it was his own fault for disappointing the Alpha. “M-forgive me, Alpha Arthur. But… really me and the other wolves have been trying hard to find Oliv’s whereabouts. We even scoured every forest without exception. But, we didn’t find Olivia’s whereabouts.”
“Impossible!” Arthur sat down in his big chair and looked away. By sitting down, his anger dissipated a little. Arthur stopped beating Brian, he had no intention of being cruel to his Beta, but his anger suddenly rose when he remembered Olivia was nowhere to be found.
“Olivia couldn’t have left that fast, nor could she have died. I know she’s tough and strong, must have survived that useless rogue!” Arthur said as he massaged his temples. “Then where did the girl go?”
Brian was still looking down, not daring to look at his Alpha. He felt like a failure, disappointed in himself for not doing a good job this time.
“Alpha, I’m… sorry,” Brian squeaked regretfully.
Alpha Arthur looked away. “Get the hell out of here before I get mad!” he commanded.
After bowing in respect, Brian excused himself and left Arthur in the room alone.
A long sigh could be heard from Arthur’s cold lips. “My curiosity is not solved, I hate puzzles! Oliv, I shouldn’t have to think about you anymore, are you trapping me to keep thinking about you?” he
muttered.
“Honey? Can I come in?”
Arthur looked up. His gaze immediately found Belle at the end of the door approaching. Belle stood behind Alpha Arthur to massage her mate’s shoulders.
“Why are you so tense, heh? Is there something, I heard some commotion outside earlier,” Belle said in her soft voice.
Arthur stiffened. “You… heard my conversation with Brian.”
Belle shook her head. “No, Alpha. How could a Luna like me eavesdrop,” she said with a pampered pout. “Do you have something to hide from me?”
“No,” Arthur replied quickly. “Of course not!”

“Okay.” Belle moved to sit on Arthur’s lap in a spoiled manner. Her movements were slow but demanding. Her hands were wrapped around Arthur’s neck, looking up at him. “You love me, don’t you, baby?”

“Why do you ask me that?” Arthur asked in a displeased tone.
Instead of answering. Belle kissed Arthur’s cheek. This was the first time Belle was being demanding. Usually Belle would wait for Arthur to come to her.
Arthur should have been thrilled, feeling a spark of happiness from her when making out like this. But no, Arthur didn’t feel that feeling of love. Everything seemed to fall flat when he was close to Belle, even when his own mate kissed him, Arthur still felt nothing.
“Why aren’t you kissing me back, Alpha?” whined Belle with pouty lips.
Belle got off Arthur’s lap and distanced herself from the man. Belle’s face was flushed, between embarrassment and anger.
“I excused myself to my room, afraid to disturb you,” Belle said sarcastically.
“Not at all,” Arthur replied quickly, but Belle was already angry.
Tll excuse myself,” Belle said and left the room.
Arthur just stared at Belle’s lost back behind the door.
“What’s wrong with me? Why don’t I feel the thrill of love for my own mate?”
“Already. Why are you the one crying?” asked Oliv chuckling at seeing Thea crying from listening to his
story.
“How can I not cry? Your story is heartbreaking. I didn’t expect such a cruel Alpha, especially coming from the Dechishon group. I will mark him!” Thea said with fire.
Olivia just smiled wryly. “Maybe this is my destiny.”
“It can’t be! She’s too cruel. Making you a surrogate Luna, getting you pregnant and then rejecting you irresponsibly.”
“Ah, about my pregnancy, yes…” Olivia looked down, right at her stomach. She smiled as if she could see her future babies. “He doesn’t know about this actually. I… haven’t gotten around to telling him yet.”
Thea rounded her eyes. “Are you serious? Why not tell him? He might want to change.”
Hearing Thea’s words, it was like Oliv was listening to a joke. Oliv laughed discordantly. “Change? No way.
He won’t care at all.”

Oliv raised her gaze with a wide smile even though it was a little forced. “It’s okay, I’m willing and happy that Alpha Arthur has given me three babies at once.”
“What? Three babies?!” squealed Thea in surprise. “How old is your pregnancy?”
Oliv tried to remember what Aldric had said to him when he woke up from his stupor.
“Four, I think.”
“Wow? If so, it’s the same as me. No wonder your belly is much bigger than mine. Ah, our children will be the same age, right? I’m so happy!”
“Thea… that’s very kind of you,” Olivia said sincerely. “Thank you for accepting me into the castle and the group.”
The brunette woman gave her best smile. She held Oliv’s shoulders tightly. “Listen to me, we are friends. from now on. I am very sad to have heard your heartbreaking story, and you are a good woman.”
“Once again, thank you Thea for accepting me,” Oliv said with glassy eyes. Finally she could find a friend, and it seemed like Thea was sincere.
“Oliv, do you want to rest?” Thea changed the subject, stopping the sad atmosphere between them. “From now on you will sleep together in my room.”
“Eh?” Olivia was surprised. There’s no need. You should sleep with your Beta partner.”
“Yeah, too,” Thea looked sad. “But I have a room-”
“Thea, no need,” Oliv cut in quickly. She felt bad. “Do you want to help me?”
Thea nodded. “Of course, with pleasure. What do you want to ask for?”
“I want you to take me to where the omegas in this castle gather.”
“Are you hungry? I’m sorry I forgot about that.”
Oliv shook his head.
“Oh, are you thirsty? I’ll get an omega to give you a drink.”
Oliv shook her head again. “Not that.”
“Then what?”
“I want to join them. I’m part of them.”
“What are you saying? You’re not that low.”
“It’s okay Thea, I mean it. The only place that suits me here is the place of the omegas,” Oliv said convincingly.

continued to negotiate. This was won by Oliv who insisted on gathering with the omegas.
“Okay, if that’s your final decision. But remember Oliv, we have to stay friends,” Thea said in the end.

They left the room. Thea was going to take Oliv to the omega’s place, located almost at the end of the room. But before that happened, a man with a big tall body came as Oliv and Thea were just out of the door.
“Honey? Where have you been?” Thea asked the man, making Oliv sure that the flat-faced and tall man was Thea’s mate. A Beta in this group.
“I’ve been running errands from Alpha Aldric.” The Beta’s gaze fell on Oliv, looking at him from toe to head. “Who is he?”
Oliv felt, there was a clear dislike from that question.
“Why are you looking at him like that?” asked Thea dislikingly.
“I’m just asking.”
“Sorry to interrupt the conversation, I have permission to go first. Thea, you said to just go straight and turn at the end, right? Thanks, I’ll go alone. I’ll take my leave,” Oliv said, giving the two a polite smile and walking away.

“Who is she, honey?” the Beta asked.
“Olivia, her name is Olivia,” Thea replied a little annoyed. “She left because of that sarcastic look of yours.” “Honey, why did you let her into our room? Don’t be so trusting of new people.”
Their words were clearly heard by Olivia. She smiled wryly as she walked on, like Beta didn’t like her. “I knew life wouldn’t be that easy, but I’ll survive,” Oliv muttered, trying to reassure
herself.
“Arthur, why do I keep thinking of you when I’m in a difficult situation like this? You should be beside me, right? If I was still your Luna, you definitely wouldn’t let everyone look down on me, where are you now? I hate you, Arthur.”
