Sheena and Elliot spent time with the babies until the evening grew late.
It was almost 9.30 p.m., and Sheena’s outburst was nearing.
Elliot held Sheena’s hand as they bid farewell to Santiago and returned to E&S Haven.
Sheena did not even go upstairs this time, heading straight to the basement.
As the basement door opened, Elliot held her hand tightly, reluctant to lock her away.
Standing on her tiptoes, Sheena lightly kissed his lips, soothing his unease.
“Don’t worry. Even if nothing happened in the first half of tonight, don’t open the door recklessly. Let’s wait until tomorrow morning. If, unfortunately, I have another outburst, we’ll proceed according to the original
plan.
Elliot nodded and said, “Nana, rest assured. I’m not going anywhere. I’ll stay in the basement with you all night. Whenever you call, I’ll be there, ready to appear when you need me the most.”
Sheena smiled, caressing his face affectionately before reluctantly entering the basement.
The door, modified to be heavier, closed with a noticeable thud.

Elliot locked the door and stood quietly beside it, and he did not even bring a chair.
He truly felt sorry for her as she was forced to sleep in such a dark, confined space.
As if he were being punished, Elliot stood upright, listening intently for any movement from Inside the
room.
He remained in that position for over two hours.
As midnight approached, the previously silent basement gradually filled with noise, accompanied by
Sheena’s angry screams.
As expected, she was having an episode.
Elliot clenched his fists tightly, silently listening by the door, praying that the items prepared inside would help Sheena vent her emotions and fall asleep soon.
He kept checking his watch, trying to calculate the time.

He wondered how long the items in the basement would take to exhaust Sheena’s energy.
