Sheena set aside the matter concerning Anne and continued to focus on her work.
When immersed in her tasks, time seemed to slip away quickly.
As Sheena was finalizing the last document for signature, her phone alarm went off.
It was a reminder she had set to leave work half an hour early.
Tonight, she had plans with Elliot to dine at Santiago’s mansion and check on Asher and Adora.
If Elliot’s proposed solution could successfully mitigate the damage during her episodes, she hoped to bring the children back home as soon as possible, where they could be under her constant watch.
That would bring her much peace of mind.
Sheena tidied her desk, preparing to leave for the evening.
As she stepped out of the CEO’s office, she received a call from Elliot before she even entered the elevator.
“Hey, Honey, I’m already in the garage,” he said.
“So soon?”
Elliot chuckled. “Of course. I don’t want to keep you waiting.”
Feeling a sweet warmth in her heart, Sheena hurried downstairs.
In the underground parking garage, Elliot leaned casually against the car, looking as handsome as ever.
When he saw Sheena approaching, he opened the car door and, as usual, used his hand to support the roof edge to prevent Sheena from accidentally hitting her head when getting in, then bent down to help
her fasten her seatbelt.
Seizing the opportunity as he leaned in, Sheena planted a coy kiss on his cheek.
“Honey, you’ve spoiled me too much. I won’t be able to function without you if we ever par
Elliot gently cupped her face with one hand, kissing her lips and relishing her sweetness.
“Well, let’s stay together forever. My love for you is unique and irreplaceable. No one can take even a
fraction of you away from me.”
Sheena playfully protested, “What about Adora? They say daughters always have a special place in their father’s heart. Aren’t you going to spoil her too?”
With unwavering affection in his eyes, Elliot replied, “Adora has Asher. I’ll leave the task of pampering and taking care of her to him in the future.”
It was a perfectly reasonable arrangement, and Sheena nodded in satisfaction.
After a few more moments of sweet affection, Elliot returned to the driver’s seat, fastened his seatbelt,

The luxury car quickly returned to the Jenkins estate garage.
As Sheena was about to exit the car, Elliot had already moved to the passenger side, opening the door for her and effortlessly lifting her out of the car in his arms.
Bathed in the evening’s crimson glow, Elliot carried Sheena through the winding alleys of the estate.
She leaned close to Elliot’s ear and whispered, “We’re going to Grandpa’s mansion for dinner. Isn’t it a bit. too much for such a public display of affection?”
Elliot shrugged nonchalantly. “Don’t worry, Nana. Grandpa won’t mind. I just want to spoil my wife, and no one will object to that.”
Despite Sheena’s protests, Elliot insisted on carrying her, and she relented.
A few minutes later, they entered Santiago’s yard.
Knowing they were coming for dinner, Santiago had been waiting at the entrance.
As they appeared in the garden, Grant pushed Santiago’s wheelchair to greet them.
“Sheena, you’re here,” Santiago exclaimed.
Seeing Sheena being carried by Elliot, both Santiago and Grant wore pleased smiles, delighted to witness
such affectionate scenes among the younger generation.
“Eli, I’m glad you’ve learned to be affectionate. Sheena is precious and should be cherished.
Santiago and Grant were overjoyed, laughing happily..
Elliot chimed in, “You’re right, Grandpa. Marrying Nana is the best thing that ever happened to me. I’ll cherish and pamper her for a lifetime.”
Santiago and Grant beamed with joy, filling the garden with joyous laughter.
“Let’s go inside and eat. Tonight’s menu includes all of Sheena’s favorites. Sheena, make sure to eat
plenty. I’d love to have more grandchildren.”
