As per their routine, Elliot held Sheena, avoiding deep sleep, and patiently waited for her to doze off.
However, after several days of work and brawl, he dozed off alongside Sheena this time.
They slept through the night until the following day.
Elliot was suddenly stirred awake, and upon checking the time, he realized it was already 9:30 a.m.,
meaning Sheena had not had an episode throughout the night.
Elliot was pleasantly surprised to find Sheena sleeping soundly beside him.
It was fantastic news!
He rolled over and showered her with kisses.
Sheena, awakened by the kisses, asked, “What are you doing?”
“Honey, Yosef’s treatment worked. You didn’t have an episode last night,” Elliot exclaimed.
“Really?” Sheena was also pleasantly surprised.
It was the first time she had slept through naturally since being diagnosed with the illness, a much-
needed normal sleep.
She hugged Elliot tightly, grateful for his unwavering support during this time.
“Does this mean my condition is improving?”
“Yes, congratulations, honey,” Elliot said, lifting her face and kissing her deeply.
After the passionate kiss, Sheena’s voice took on a seductive tone.
“Does this mean the little dresses and outfits we bought in Ardolisia can finally be worn?”

Although he was eager to see her in those outfits, he had to restrain himself.

In the afternoon, Anne arrived promptly at the Lawson Group.
Sheena stopped typing on her keyboard.
“Ms. Windsor, you’re just in time. Let’s get going,” she said, picking up her designer handbag.

Anne leaned against the window, marveling at the scenic mountain road and the solitary mansions.
“Where are we? This mountain is so beautiful. I’ve never been here before.”
Without glancing away from the road, Sheena asked, “Do you like it here, Ms. Windsor?”
Anne gazed intently at the old mansion atop the hill where Albert used to reside. “Yes, I really do.”
